Both men and women of time of time have become icons of the world. Religious people tune their TVs to listen to a weather forecast next. Most of us however, refuse to admit that the weatherman and the weather report is not an exact science. We live by the weather forecast, plan our days, plan our vacations, our plan of work outdoors, and dress accordingly. The weather forecast is important for everyone in one way or another and is not limited civilians. The military and the aviation industry depends largely on the current and future climate conditions. Weather reports progress has been made in step with modern technology, of course, computers play an important role in forecasting today. As advanced as computers are today, still can not predict the future some of the time. They can make prediction easier and more accurate than weather prediction years ago. As a matter in fact, time is part of the news program every day and a television news program would be incomplete without a time slot.

Prognosis time appeared on the television airwaves in October 1941. It was the first time a visual representation of current and future climatic conditions were presented the public. There were radio programs of weather forecasts from January 1921, but nothing could compare to a weather forecast the public could see themselves. The Weather Man, ironically, was first a cartoon character who sang a melody, while the time is displayed on the screen. It may sound primitive, but now its time was the state of the art. 1950 brought a new era. The television weatherman live, armed with a blackboard, chalk, a sense of humor, and an array of meteorological knowledge was OT become part of our daily lives, lives. Weather forecasts were vague and primitive but, basically, better than nothing at all. As confidence in weather forecasts grew, so did public interest in the weatherman. A well done, erroneous forecast is better than no forecast at all. As time passed and the time slot in the daily news program continued to gain popularity, Women entered the scene and became television meteorologists too.

As with everything else, the weather forecast itself evolved. The presentation was much more involved and complex. The man was now time to present the current conditions along with some detailed statistics those viewers who were interested in the weather-related statistics and history. Even viewers who may never have had an interest in the specifics time, now had something to talk about on the table or at work the next morning. The time segment of the broadcast news was becoming mandatory for all the news on the basis of its growing popularity. The old boards were replaced with cardboard models and then, of course, computer animations and even infamous "green screen". The green screen, actually a blank green screen, let the weatherman standing before a large scale map of the time and actually point to various aspects of the map. TV viewers, of course, view maps, clear graphics and colors that completely improved the prognosis. The visual effects became almost as important as the forecasters themselves.

Weather men and women began earning a reputation for good or bad based on their forecasting skills. What the public did not know was that the reputation was also obtained pure personality.
