What is a good video camera low cost for independent filmmakers?

Looking for a video camera to buy something I do not give the entire movie of 'home' effect and feel to it. Will also need a tripod so it does not Shakey and all that but Could you tell me some good inexpensive video cameras that will give me what I'm looking for. Do not know much about video cameras and lenses, but I'm looking into it. If someone I can help with brand and price of video cameras to study will be very agradecido.-M

By "something I do not give you all the" movie home "effect and feel," I think your talking about the movie, look. Can be replicated, either through software or the camera itself. However, both these options are quite expensive, and there seems to be much money at the moment. I'll get to that later but for now I will talk about the cameras. I do not know your budget, but what you said, I'm guessing you want a camera, probably $ 800 or less (correct me if I'm wrong, and re-write this).
