Best pocket camera, in terms of shutter speed?

I'm in the market for a great pocket camera, but I would something fast shutter speed. General quality of the lens and the zoom range is important too. Anyone with a suggestion?

I have a SD870IS Canon, and is the best camera I've had. In the past I had a Sony DSC-P52, a Fuji A345 and Sony DSC-W7 and W7 are compared only in terms of image quality.
