How do I add more science to my case study on organic foods?

I'm doing a case study in food food VS conventiol organic but need to add more science to work. It includes a diagram of the genetic modification, but do not know what else to put. By Could you please give me some ideas for my GCSE work. Thanks

How about some chemical fertilizers or pesticides used in non-organic food. You could also look at the yield per hectare of land as organic would be higher.
