Do I have a copy of my statement from the Fed with my state of CA?

The form says "refer to the instructions," but I'm using the program TaxCut from H & R Block, and if this is in the instructions, I can not find it. What do you know?

The following are instructions Form 540, California Resident Personal Income Tax Return (page 19) on the website of California Franchise Board: prepare your return – Attachments to your return Is it necessary to attach a copy of Federal Form 1040 form? 540A Filers: do not attach a copy of your federal Form 1040 to the 540A. Form 540 filers: Did you include All federal forms or schedules other than Schedule A or List B of your federal Form 1040? Please do not attach a copy of your 1040 federal return to Form 540. If yes, attach a copy of your federal 1040 and all forms of federal support and schedules to Form 540. Exception: If you did not itemize deductions on your federal return, but itemize deductions on your California tax return, complete and attach a copy of a federal List of Form 540.
