Many of us have spent time on sites like YouTube watching this short funny movie that his friend by e-mail the link too. Maybe even have taken the time to see some long-term independent films can be found on sites like Jaman and CinquestOnline. If it's just a little entertainment that your looking for there are literally hundreds of video sites that house free for us to see. What happens when you want to see the latest Hollywood blockbuster that has missed while it was in the theater?

This article briefly discusses some of the top video rental / purchase site who are online now day. No need to run to your local movie store to rent or buy movies. With new online digital rental and purchase services you can rent and watch movies on your PC. Although the image quality varies between sites and the availability of the latest movies, rental ads online movie offers the convenience of seeing what they want without needing a trip to your video store. Best of all there are never late fees!

There are many sites that allow you to buy or rent movies for digital download. For brevity, I'll just mention the three I have found the best and why.

My favorite is the online movie site CinemaNow. The site – though not always have the most current selection as its video store – has a great selection of films, ranging from some of the latest blockbusters to release independent films. With the latest films that have the option purchase or rental of the film. What I liked about CinemaNow is that when you buy a movie, give you the option of recording onto a DVD that can be seen in the TV. Of the sites I looked CinemaNow seems to be the only one that will allow you to do this. The image quality is good for premium content (some free or content Subscription is of lower quality) and general site seems to be the best I could find.

The next place I've found who led the pack is new Amazon Unbox service. Rental sites speak Unbox today is therefore the easiest to use, and has the closest to DVD quality video. DVDs available as they are released to DVD, so that selection in the Amazon-owned site is great. The best thing I found was UBOX what that site was easy to use. Movies are properly classified and easy to find. As the largest online book distributor in the world has experience in organizing Amazon store online, and displayed with its new Unbox service. Great quality and ease of use make Unbox a viable candidate for best movie online.

The last I would place the first three of Apple's iTunes. With iTunes not quaility image or ease of use that give the top. In fact I think the iTunes player clumsy and the interface difficult to use. What the Apple-owned service has going for it however, are gadgets you can buy to play their purchased movies (without option rental in iTunes). Movies downloaded from iTunes can be played on your PC through your iPod Video, or through your TV with the new Apple TV unit. Merge the hardware to date selection of movies from iTunes and remains in the top three in my list.
