How can I fix my Canon Elph camera?

When I try to take a picture with my Canon PowerShot SD1000 Digital Elph, the screen is black. The camera flashes and takes a picture and see the photo after taking it. However, the screen is blank, as is by clicking the button So you can not see your topic. If anyone has this camera or have experience with these kinds of things, please help.

Press the "Disp." button. It is in the back in the bottom right next to the menu button.
