How long should the battery last delivered on my Sony Handycam (HDR-SR5)?

I bought a Sony Handycam for about a year (HDR-SR5) and have only used very little since. However, I recently put him on a trip to the zoo with me and found that the battery fully charged, but only had 120 minuets of life … Is this normal for the battery of the camera comes with or somthing not right?

I think the amount of time is on the right to treat a full battery discharge and recharge it for 24 hours this may improve the battery life
