Jvc Camcorder

I wanted a HD camcorder, because our only standard definition died, ie stopped recording images and not just sound. We needed an internal video that have done good, because that is where 90% of our videos would be taken. Since we have a huge HDTV and other on the road, and a great computer for video editing (iMac with iMovie 09) I thought it was time for an HD camcorder.
I spent several days and many hours of research of my best options. Since I live in the middle of nowhere had no way of proving in a shop which options are best for me. I narrowed it down two options and buy the cheapest in the hope that it would be good enough.
The HM200 JVC Everio is a great little HD camera, especially if you want to shoot video outdoors. It has a 20x zoom, digital image stabilization and has two SDHC cards. It's small, comfortable, has a design for a genius wrist / hand strap and wrapped in a neat little package. It comes with an HDMI cable so you have to buy separately if you want to connect to an HDTV. The biggest downfall was that the indoor video was marginal. It kind of good if they were seeing on a computer screen, but the moment they saw the video on a TV you could see unmanageable amounts of noise, digitization and basically almost so bad you have to apologize to everyone in the room of bad photography. Not what I wanted to see.
However, there are people who do not care for indoor video. To them I say, buy this little number has a lot of great features, has an intuitive menu and really enjoyed it.
I recommend to see some sample videos on YouTube.com and if you can not Vimeo.com find a store that sells one in your area.
