Kodak EasyShare Why only half of the download of my new pictures and saying the others are 'duplicates'?

Why Kodak EasyShare only half of the download of my new photos, and saying that others are 'duplicates'? All photographs are totally new, and nothing is duplicated. The camera is a Kodak EasyShare M683, and I am using custom software. The memory card is pretty full, but this is the 1st time I've had a problem downloading!

The software does not know whether they are new images or not. Only known to have the same name. Try loading them in a different album. If that does not work, rename the "duplicate" images on your computer. Then make sure that the camera will still use the image number rather than start over in 0001.
