Lens Lomo

Lomo cameras have continued to increase in popularity in recent years. It was not long ago that you could take a good condition Lomo LCA camera from an auction site or the thrift store for just a few dollars. Today its popularity has meant that now have to pay several hundred dollars for get the same camera, even secondhand.
High prices have become more and more people look for a decent alternative Lomo. The requirements are simple: compact film camera that is armed with a good sharp lens, which produces the vignette story telling variety colors and contrasts that have become the mark of the Lomo LCA?
Well been looking everywhere I found what I think is a great alternative to the Lomo LCA, the Olympus XA2. This camera has a lens of better quality than the Lomo – Producing much sharper images. Hails form the 1980s and when it was released it was revolutionary in its design.
The body has the same as the retro look is back and packed in a metal housing, giving it a good robust to it. The best part is that despite the camera auction sites on the Internet for a few dollars.
The real beauty of the XA2 comes when you shoot using color slide film and have to cross processed as regular color film negative. The results vary depending on which end with the type of film used, but tends to finish with very saturated colors – Steak for signature, if you want.
The camera that I use as an alternative to the Lomo LCA is the Olympus XA2 Just follow this link for a more in depth review of the XA2.
