Nikon, Canon?
Further to my other Nikon, Canon Question …. I've always shot with Nikon .. N-90 … F-2 …. but the image research online digital, with Canon CMOS sensor, were better at higher ISO settings than the Nikon! So yes its me saying so … research itself. Why does Nikon use CMOS sensors in all their cameras?
Its all hype when it comes to trivial differences. If you already have Nikon lenses why spend all that money go buy new ones for a new system. Both professional quality automatic cameras images. As a business strategy, switching systems is not a good plan. If you already have Canon stick with Canon, and the same goes for Nikon. It goes from body to body digital cinema is a movement intuitive. Change brands, is a learning curve. Shot my D100 at ISO 6400 and my D200 at ISO 3200, when every time the light is low. The results are much higher than 3200 movie ISO shot on any camera (noise vs. grain). In the shooting the real world (not lab tests) that would be difficult to tell which images are produced the CCD or CMOS. CMOS is still in growth phase little discomfort. Only Canon has ventured into this area. Each has strengths and weaknesses giving advantages in different applications. Neither is categorically superior to the other, although a single technology vendors have usually claimed otherwise. In a few years, there must be a whole new technology that will revolutionize the sensors and then all the camera companies adopt it as the new standard. "
