Notebook Mic

You may face this problem when the volume or microphone sound settings are not configured correctly and even the bad audio drivers can cause the problem.
Resolution:
If you are connecting the microphone to the mini jack to the microphone, make sure you are connected correctly.
Also make sure there is no problem with the audio on your notebook. (To test audio, play any music from your computer Laptop)
Test the microphone sound recorder sounds.
You can open this in All Programs, Accessories.
Move to Entertainment and click Sound Recorder.
Click Start (red circle) and speak into the microphone and click Stop (this is placed beside Home) after a time and click on Play (present at next stop) and hear the sound recorded.
If you can not hear any sound, continue with the following steps:
If the problem has occurred recently, then try System Restore. Restore to an earlier point when his microphone was working well.
If the problem persists even after System Restore, then we have to check the audio settings.
Right click on the volume icon in the taskbar and select Adjust Audio Properties.
This will open Sounds and Audio Devices Properties window.
The box Mute check should be checked.
If no volume icon in the taskbar, then click the Start menu and select Control Panel.
Switch on the Control Panel, select Classic View, if you are already in Classic View, double click on sound devices and audio and check the box next to "volume icon in the taskbar" in the sound and audio device properties window.
Click the button Advanced.
Select Options and click Properties in the Volume Control window.
In the case of the Adjust volume, select Option internal microphone recording and make sure it is selected, if not, select it and click OK.
Close this window and return to sound and devices Audio Properties window and click the Audio tab.
Select quantity and click the Advanced button in the Recording Control window.
If there is no Advanced button and then click Options and select Advanced Controls.
Make sure that the box 1 Microphone Boost is checked if not checked and click Close.
Close this window and the sound and audio devices, click OK, the Properties window.
Check the microphone now.
If the problem persists, then the problem could be due to the sound drivers.
Hold down Windows number and simultaneously break the key to open the System Properties window and click the Hardware tab and click Device Manager.
Click "+" next to Sound, video and game controls and uninstall the sound drivers, one by one. Restart your computer, but when asked for installation of audio drivers, install using recovery disks or recovery partition. If any of these are not available, you may return to install the drivers for your laptop support website.
Now, reinstall the drivers, see the microphone.
If the problem persists, then the problem could be due to the hardware. Contact notebook support for further assistance.
