How to Repair a grainy picture?

I have a photograph that was taken without flash, and is very grainy. How do I fix this photo? I have GIMP and Photo Explosion. Any other program to help me do this? It's a great film, but it is grainy, and you can not see facial features.



probably not be able to retreive the information, since it could not be there. sounds like it is exposed. There are noise reduction filter in Photoshop, which could take some points, but if you can not see detail of everything, not magically appear in the points. sorry
