What goal should I buy for a wet plate camera?

I am building a wet plate camera and want to use large pieces glass and film (8×10) or larger. I have not been able to find any solid information on what to buy a lens. Please give me some recommendations.

I happen to have a true original wet plate camera. Found in an old building for years. The goal is near a large sheet format film camera. Large single lens. Set the f stop. Cock the shutter and press the button to take the picture. No manufacturer name on the lens. It's big, about 2 "wide.
