How spearate hard disk drive power cable plugs power supply?

I bought a new power supply and the old man is connected to the hard drive and disk drive connector with little / extensions or whatever. I could not separate the power supply cables connectors, so disconnected from the hard disk drive. But now, not separate and have even tried to throw hard. What happens, how separate these things for me to get my other equipment installed.

Hello. Almost all internal hard drives use a 4-pin connector called 'National'. These can be difficult to remove, but see if there is any clip built into the connector. Usually require only a moderate amount of force to remove. Try rocking while pulling. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Molex
