Apart from strong sales of automotive parts Mazda, the car company had professional series Multiple this past weekend in the Grand Prix of Cleveland.

In Cleveland Car Course, 4 series were conducted: Cooper Tires presents the Champ Car Atlantic Championship Powered by Mazda, Star Mazda Championship presented by Goodyear, BFGoodrich / Skip Barber National Presented by Mazda and the SCCA Pro Racing SIRIUS Satellite Radio Mazda MX-5 Cup.

Champ Car Atlantic Championship Series points leader Raphael Matos extended his championship lead by winning the provisional pole positions and final and a flag to flag win. From a standing start in turn 1, Matos led the field and never led. With four victories in 2007, far surpassed his teammate Sierra Sierra James Hinchcliffe by 30 points.

Round 7 of the series will be in Mont Tremblant (Canada) on 1 July.

In the Star Mazda Championship, Jonathan Goring of Norfolk, Connecticut win its first series bags. The 2006 Skip Barber National Series champion, is ranked in the outside front row and fought for most of the 45 minutes race with pole-sitter leader Dane Cameron of Sonoma, California

Round 7 will be in Toronto (Canada) in July. A unit in the 2008 Champ Car Atlantic Series will be awarded to the Star Mazda 2007 Champion.

Meanwhile, the two winners in the weekend before the BFGoodrich / Skip Barber National Series has done it again. Josef Newgarden of Henderson, Tennessee took starting positions for both races at Cleveland, the conversion of the first pole into a victory. And for his second victory of the year, VIR another winner Joel Miller of Hesperia, California took the lead in the second race. Miller is now leading the championship points.

In this series was the debut of 13-year-old Gabby Chaves De Colombia who qualified third and had a great start to lead the first lap before being passed by Newgarden, and finished where it began.

Rounds 7 and 8 will be at Road America August 2-5. A disk in the 2008 Star Mazda Championship Series will be awarded to the 2007 Skip Barber National Champion.

Friday's race of the SCCA Pro Racing SIRIUS Satellite Radio Mazda MX-5 Cup is an impressive success of the event, as the record books held eight changes official leader at start finish line, but overlook the dozens of passes and reviews around the track. Scoring to come back after being beaten-off win at the first corner on lap one was a native of the Cleveland area Jason Saini. Ara Malkhassian and Andrew Caddell followed him across the line. Saini again earned same success in the second race after another great battle that saw four different leaders (Saini, Caddell, Matt Cross, and Elive Goulart) and two lead changes in the last lap. Both races were green flag the whole way.

Round 7 will be in Trois-Rivières (Canada) August 18 to 19 years. A unit in a MAZDA6 for the 2008 SCCA Pro Racing SPEED World Challenge Touring Car Championship will be awarded to the 2007 SCCA Pro Racing SIRIUS Satellite Radio MX-5 Cup Champion
