I have a Sanyo VPC-E760 Camera and when I connect, the screen goes black and nothing happens?

I have a Sanyo VPC-E760 camera. Every time I connect my computer to download the pictures, the screen goes black and still acts like its going to take a picture, and in fact, pressing the button, it takes a photo! I'm running on Vista, if it is a problem.

If you were planning to shoot a photo, then you should be OK, 'Tho if you want to copy a video file or photo, Windows Explorer may be appropriate. -> Home-> My Computer?
