If you've read my article, photo editing Free Software – What features should I look for, then you have some ideas of the tools that are available. Although there are many editing programs available, I used a few. These then are what I recommend. They are all free.

Paint.net

This software is very simple and easy to use. It also offers some advanced features such as layers and curves. It is changing the screen size showing the image only appears after you stop. This is not bad as long as you are aware of it.

Irfanview

Learn about everything as an image viewer, IrfanView is an editor as well. It has a multitude of features, such as changing the lot size and power to change thumbnail size when viewing images. It also offers a lot of image file types you want to change the size of a photo.

That said, I think that this program is the most confusing to use. I use it regularly. I guess if I did, I used to it. However, they have much to offer.

FastStone Image Viewer

Once again, great as an image viewer with some very useful features. I like that you can see the two images, the original and a duplicate for editing together. Once you have a photo enlarged to fill the screen, several options are available by moving the mouse at first, the lower, left or right of the screen.

For example, go to the top of the screen and a strip of thumbnails of all your images in the folder will appear. You can click in a thumbnail, and then the picture will be full screen. This is a useful tool that lets you work with a full screen image and easy to see your photos in the folder.

Web Resizer

This is actually a website. It is how strong feature resizes images, but also can do some simple edits. It is very easy to use. It clearly shows what your image will look like, comparing different sizes of the same image file. Rise a photo to work with him, and then download it to save to your computer.

Picasa 3

Picasa 3 is a photo editing software, but also offers a few other things. As a publisher, has a wide range of tools, divided into three categories. It's other features are that it is an image viewer and organizer. You can also send your digital photos online in a printer. If you choose to use Picasa Web Albums as an online site for sharing photos (and storage), can be synchronized with Picasa 3 to make modifications and changes made in Picasa 3, it automatically in Picasa Web Albums.
