I'm very conservative when it comes to buying my new toys. I do not buy every new gadget that comes out, but when I bought it – I have the latest technology and the highest quality they can afford. That way my investment holds its value for a long time and I'm not tempted to replace so soon.
I have not bought a digital camera, when for the first time. All I could do was pick up the 1-megapixel models with no optical zoom. Maybe a good replacement for the disposable cardboard we can find in the supermarket, but I preferred the quality images I got from my (now 20 years old) Nikon camera 35mm film SLR.
When finally I bought a digital camera a few years ago, I took a little used Olympus 2.1 megapixel digital camera with a 3x optical zoom focus automatic. At that time, was a good value as you can get when buying a digital camera, but the technology is what it is – is now considered a midrange camera consumer level.
Well, while I'm still happy with my Nikon film based camera, I've been thinking about buying a new camera Digital earlier this year. That's because I've seen the incredible pictures that my friends have taken with their cameras, and I want to be able to get the same results. I am also using my 35mm SLR much less these days just because it is much more convenient to use my digital camera, and I have a bag full of film which I never found the time it has developed. It is time to buy a new digital camera that actually replace the 35mm camera.
To that end, I have been reading the guides and digital camera reviews to catch up on exactly what to look for when buying a digital camera. This research is very useful to assess what the cameras are easy to use, produce high quality photos are loaded with features, and are the best bargains. In fact, these resources make the task of buy a digital camera easier than I thought it would be.
Since I've been doing all this research beforehand, I'm ready to do my purchase, now that I've decided to buy a digital camera is the right decision for me. I read about people who get great deals online shopping, so that is where I will look first. Also read the comments of the store as part of my research into buying a digital camera, so I know that websites were trustworthy and which to avoid. As a result, I will be able to complete my purchase without a single problem.
Now that I have taken the decision, I really can not remember what stopped me from buying a new digital camera a long time! I can not wait to get it, so you can play with the settings, and test different features available in newer digital cameras. If you ask me, this is the way photography was meant to be.
If you've been thinking about buying a digital camera, I recommend you go ahead and do it sooner rather than later. You will be surprised how easy it is to take pictures with this type of equipment and how much better the pictures turn out.
