What are the parts required to build a digital SLR camera film digital camera?

K Well, I have an old cannon film SLR camera and want to know what would for me to do besides adding some things and come up with a digital. BTW is so old that no autofocus However, I do not mind its concentration in the mine. So I really want is for it to take photos very quick fire. Thanks for your help advance.
