Stainless steel?

I have a stainless steel pot 11 quarts that I discovered what I think is a rust stain. Is there something I can buy to get rid of the stain or should I throw the pot?

Yes, but very light touch with the mop … or trying to "Bartender's Friend" or "ZUD" or "Bon Ami", with some 0000 (very) fine steel wool and a little water … remove and wash the crud later, then rub a drop of cooking oil on top there. Always make sure your stainless pots, pans, utensils are allowed to dry so that all water can drain out / outside.
