Ultra Compact

If you are looking for a strong and ultra-compact point and shoot portable digital camera, then the model for Canon SD1100IS definitely suits her needs. I am by no means a professional photographer, but I've seen lots and lots of consumer digital cameras, and it just fascinated by my shooting experience. In this article I will try to describe the pros and cons of this gadget and hope that this will ease their purchasing decisions.

For starters, here are the points strong I managed to point out:

– Image sensor 8 megapixels with DIGIC 3. While not every last DIGIC 4 technology, images are still excellent for the needs of an amateur photographer.
– Most of the body is made of aluminum. Once he dropped out of solid concrete and nothing happened (well, except for some nasty scratches on the case). A plastic camera casing were broken into pieces.
– Interface user logic. Anyone can learn how to work their core functions without touching the user manual. If you've ever operated a digital camera, you know what to do with it.
– The macro mode produces stunning photographs
– Optical viewfinder, especially useful when the sun shines so brightly you can not see nothing on the LCD screen or when you want to turn the screen off to save power.

Cons and limitations

– No manual control over aperture, shutter speed and focus. These belong to the higher-end cameras, you get what you pay for.
– Noise nuisance from the ISO 400, which makes taking Pictures in the dark, rather impossible
– Auto-focus and slow shutter speed. It is quite impossible to shoot moving targets.
— Shutter lag is greatly increased if you are using the flash mode. You can lose up to several seconds to wait for the flash charges.

Printing Overall I had was great, my opinion is 5 of 5. Despite some limitations, I have found to be too upset and did not affect my shooting experience. As a last advice, I would recommend buying some rechargeable batteries and at least one card of 8 GB of memory, as the camera comes with a small 32MB one.

Getting the perfect camera, is never an easy thing, especially with the way digital technology is constantly changing. Fortunately, there are plenty of helpful websites online, that can narrow down your search and help you find the camera with all the features important to you.
