How can I make a USB flash drive on a keychain?

I am thinking of buying a portable SD card reader for USB, but none of the products I've seen have any keychain attachment. I currently use the USB Drive Shuttle Case Logic, but it is too bulky and uncomfortable. Does anyone knows of other holders Drive USB flash drive, or how to connect a USB device that has no tie to a keychain? I also do not want to drill the USB drive to make a key for fear it could damage the unit.
