Vivitar 283 flash coupler to connect to the shoe in a Nikon F3?

I recently changed OM1 system to Nikon F3, I have a Vivitar 283 electronic flash. Is there a shoe coupler so I can use this flash on the Nikon F3. It will also synchronize. Thanks, Ed

You do not say the age of its 283 was whether its an old can I go with something like the HS to HS slave wein safe sync. Some older versions of the 283 that can trigger high voltages. Those marked "Made in China are supposed to be the most current and voltage to have a safe trip.
